Submission Guidelines
Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your work.
File Format: Submit your artwork as a PDF file only.
Dimensions: Artwork should fit within an A2-sized canvas (portrait or landscape orientation). White space around the borders is acceptable.
Originality: Only original artwork created by the submitting artist will be accepted.
Theme Relevance: Artwork must meaningfully engage with and relate to the exhibition theme. Original artworks exploring and engaging with mental health, crisis, recovery, and hope with respect to suicide prevention are eligible.
Artist Statement: Include a brief description or artist statement of approximately 100 words, explaining the artwork and its connection to the theme.
Medium: All visual art mediums are welcome, including illustration, painting, photography, digital art, mixed media, collage, and similar forms. Poetry or prose submitted as standalone artworks will not be accepted, though written text may be included within the artwork or artist statement.
AI-Assisted Artwork: Artwork created entirely using AI, or artwork that copies existing works, is not permitted. However, AI-assisted artwork is allowed if AI is used only to edit or enhance your original artwork. Artists must clearly disclose the tools used and describe the extent of AI involvement in the creation process.
Copyright: Artists must own the rights to all submitted work and any incorporated elements. By submitting, artists confirm that their work does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Content Considerations: We encourage thoughtful and respectful engagement with the theme. Submissions containing discriminatory, hateful, or harmful content will not be considered.
Exhibition Rights: By submitting, artists grant the organizers permission to display their work as part of the exhibition and to use images of the work for exhibition-related communication, documentation, and promotional purposes, with appropriate credit.
Number of Entries: Participants may submit up to three artworks.
Selection Process: Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. Due to space and curation considerations, submission does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition. Selected artists will be notified following the review process.
